Mellyn's all started when I learned that fused glass is a medium that you don’t have full control over. Once you put it in the kiln, it is all up to the kiln Gods😊.
When I was very young, I would watch my Aunt for hours as she would create her mosaics and fused glass. After she passed, I inherited her small kiln, and began experimenting with color and technique. My love for glass grew and so did the sizes of my kilns.
I draw my inspiration from the beautiful Central Texas Countryside where my neighbors are cows.
